Position of the Motherboard

Motherboard position depends on its cabinet model. There are two types of cabinet models currently available: 1. Tower Model 2. Desktop Model Tower Model: As the name indicates it is having more hight and less width in this kind of CPU cabinets the motherboards attached to the side of the box. Normally it is assembled just below the SMPS in the pc cabinet. Desktop Model: In this model the motherboard is placed on the base of the box just near to the SMPS or powersupply. There are other kind of Pcs called AIO (All in one Pcs) which integrated the CPU along with the monitor. In this type of Pcs Motherboard is placed behind the Monitor Screen. Normally motherboards are screwed in the metal cabinet with the use of plastic spacers.
